The bargains through, the dealings done, What did we seek what had we won?
Intoxicated with our game, The wrath of God some did proclaim, Would fall upon us hard and fast,
And humble us for good at last.
But through all of our merriment, So proud of what we had achieved, We could not seem to take the hint, If only we had all believed.


The Moonless NightSpeaking of the moonless night, Drawn in patience out of spite, A line that dared not to be crossed, A fire is burning out of loss. Passions rise and then decay, And fear and desperation may, Control the soul and mind and core, The root, the reeking vengeful moor. Fear not what you cannot believe, For eyes can lie and then deceive, Speak not what should not see the light, Of day and give the demons right, To come upon you silently, And kill you very violently, For one can avoid this terrible fate, This incessant torture that ne'er abates, By only uThe Moonless Night
